Experience Points

Often abbreviated as 'Xp', experience points like level, are a measure of a character's overall power. Experience points are gained by killing monsters, with more points being awarded for besting more powerful adversaries. Completing certain quests can also grant experience. After collecting a sufficient amount of Xp your level will increase. The amount of Xp required to gain a level gradually increases.
