Item Status

In addition to their other properties, items can be blessed, uncursed, or cursed. Consumable items will generally have greater effects when blessed (may great greater stat bonuses, more satiation, etc), and lesser or worse effects when cursed (lesser stat bonus or stat penalties, less satiation, etc). Cursed items cannot be unequipped. Note that some wearable items are autocursing, meaning that they will become cursed whenever they are equipped. Luck is reduced for every two cursed items equipped, and increased for every two blessed items equipped (?).
